    M30 Dyno Graphs

Well, because, why not? Here's a few dyno graphs I have saved on my computer.

Stock M30B35, Miller MAF conversion and chip.

Hartge H6S head, 2mm larger intake, 1mm larger exhaust, 282 degree cam and extensive porting, Hartge headers, E34 intake manifold.

3.6L M30B35 10.5:1 compression, 290 degree camshaft, ported head "Dinan" chip

This is from Martin in Bellevue on bimmer.info. 284 degree cam and a MAF conversion.

Metric Mechanic head, some sort of cam and a MAF conversion from Bruno.

    BOOSTED GRAPHS

    TCD set up, 330/315 out of a 733, 275 cam, headwork @ 14psi

    TCD set up at 14.7psi

310 rwhp 365ftlbs on current set up: stock motor, custom 321 turbo manifold, garrett hybrid t3/to4s 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust all the way back no cat and straight through magnaflow muffler
(although there was some bashing on this dyno graph regarding the tune)

This is 470rwhp on a dyno dynamics

    GT3076R (?)
    7:1 CR, forged pistons
Runs on 98 octane premium unleaded
Front mount Intercooler is a custom job, pretty big, I will measure it up, but its big.
In the process of being converted to sequential Autronic SM4 and CDI
    Individual coils running wasted spark
    85# delphi injectors
Head is gas flowed with std valve sizes, o-ringed
Cam is a custom grind, exact details not known
Exhaust is 3" dump pipe to 2x2.5" main pipes back to a 3" back box, no cat
Modified intake manifold with a Large Nissan throttle body (90mm)

    TCD @17psi, M30B34

I know there is a stock one around here somewhere, it's from Craig S I believe. I've been digging through my computer for the past thirty minutes trying to find it, but when you fill a 250GB hard drive, you've got a little to look through

As far as I know, they're all manuals. Why do you consider these pathetic for a M30?

huh. well so far i am most impressed by your dyno with the Miller MAF. I hope that I can get over 200whp with a little bit more than the MAF

[E34] Miller MAF. 3.64 LSD. Racing Dynamics Headers. Remus Catback Exhaust. Bilstein HD Shocks. H&R Springs. M5 Sway Bars. Racing Dynamics Strut Bar. Racing King Subframe Inserts. Clear corners and tails. Euro bumper trim. 17" BBS RX wheels.

not really sure what you were expecting, the m30 has a pretty low compression ratio with a single overhead cam...

E34biturbo, Redfive, beetos, gol10dr1 all come to mind. There's a few non-TCD ones out there too, trying to find them. 1st posting will be updated.

Man, makes me want boost but I'm away from my car too much to invest that much money in it at once

i'm sure it is, but i don't know enough about turbos to be going that route right now. Right now I have the RD headers and a Miller MAF that i'll be putting on next time i'm home

Please note that the three TCD dyno graphs are m30b32 or m30b34 engines. Not the big valve/big cam b35 head. The b32 graph is stock Motronic. The 348rwhp is 14.7psi and MS. The 388rwhp is at 18psi and MS.

What other parts do you need? I am starting all over with my build. Hit 26 psi and now I am going to maximize for max air flow. Selling everything on the 15 psi setup and going for the moon...

I'll have an updated graph with the MAF on next Thursday the 7th. I'm hoping to take that top NA M30 spot... I need at least 18RWHP

Not to state the obvious... but you do know those numbers are Rear Wheel Horsepower and not Flywheel Horsepower right? For instance 200RWHP = 240FlyWHP.

Not exactly back to MAF because I have never run this new engine with MAF until now. I may be selling my car soon and the Megasquirt would add confusion to the potential buyer. The MAF conversion is more "stock" so to speak. If I decide to keep the car and go forced induction then it's Megasquirt all the way though. Clevertd has the setup you built for me and will be installing it soon.
