Club Racing School at Mid-Ohio

Northern Ohio BMW is hosting our annual Club Race School March 30-April 1st. Not only being a requirement for your CR license this intense course is open to all track junkies, HPDE advanced students and instructors along with anyone looking for the next level of driver education.
The minimum equipment requirements for this are the same as an HPDE. Track worthy car, approved helmet(Snell 2005 or newer) etc. Though we do recommend any and all safety equipment up to and including fully prepared race cars. Cars do not have to be BMW's either. Just like our HPDE's all makes and models are welcome.
This is an intense school. Friday morning will be available for test/tune, checking out the track etc. Friday afternoon the education begins! You will be busy with meetings, classrooms and on track instruction right thru Sunday. We will have many instructors available to educate, train, consult with and help you learn.The instructors are drawn from the ranks of Club Racing, Pro Racing and other venues. All have vast experience and some are present and past National Champions. They are there to help you learn and to pass thier insight and knowledge of his great sport.
With this being a requirement for your racing license this is the one to be at for 2012 as there will be a lot of great racing this year. Here at Mid-Ohio both the Central Region Premier race in May and OFest in September along with many great tracks around the country.
Our 2010 and 2011 classes were very successful. Of the students who successfully completed the course and graduated many have gone on to apply and be granted CR licenses.
HPDE instructors and advanced students who took this were very happy with the learning experience also.

Judging from last year's CRS, there should be plenty of people who might be able to use Nate's services. I think I was one of the few cars that didnt have some kind of mechanical issue. And you will NOT have any time to work on the car yourself during the day.

Congratulations to all the students at this year's CRS at Mid-Ohio! We had a fantastic weekend and it was great to see the progress of ALL of the students on track! There will be more videos to come, but here is one that Nate threw together of a rear-view of some of the practice starts. I was in an E46 M3 (headed toward a GTS 3/4 car) that we were setting up this weekend.



Almost just as importantly, the Saturday night Street Survival Charity dinner was a raving success! Almost 50% more people than expected showed up and KC's brought their A Game! With nice BMW floral arrangements on the main table, fast service, and great food, we couldn't have a better place supporting us and the Street Survival organization!

Oh, and late night karaoke was.... memorable
