    Entire e36 Wiring Diagram

    I needed to find a wiring diagram for a problem with my car and came across one. Figured I would post it for anyone else who could use it. Its in pdf format.

    Its amazing just how much is in that manual for wire diagrams.....

    I have tackled innumerable wire problems in my car.

    In fact, I was able to find a rare error in the manual as I tore apart my ABS wire harness, cut all the wires to the ABS dme, and spliced in the portion needed to run the euro M3 DME for ABS.....

    I made my own fusebox from a stripped down chassis harness....

    It really clarifies things like duplication of wires for the lights and their check light function etc...

    Very few things are omitted, but it can be tough to find some items.

    Agreed, but the ETM (posted above) goes above and beyond the Bentley. It has EVERYTHING, and is very model specific, so there is not much multi-model routing to figure out. I'm using it now for a race car ... putting in an ABS from a 92 into a 97, and gutting the other wiring. They whole check module circuit is crazy ... so many wires just to tell you that you hava bulb out

    Where did you find the Euro Wiring diagram? Is it available somewhere online? Do you happen to have a link?

    I am going to be retro fitting A/C onto a '95 with the s50b32 and want to make sure I wire in the aux fan correctly. I have no trouble reading a wiring diagram, but I need to make sure I am looking at the right one?

    really? ...I couldn't find any s50b32 diagrams. I will look again...I found the S50b30, are they the same?

    318is & 1996 M3

    E36 M3 engine into E36 318 compact

    Hi all,

    Good information ive got from the wiring diagrams but I still have loads of doubts. Just to fill you in, crashed my m3 earlier in the year but luckly the engine, gearbox and lsd was in one piece and working. So I purchased an e36 318 compact have have fitted the engine and gear box in, went straight in adapted various bits and Im all ready to go.

    I have manged to do some wiring and the engine turns but it doesnt start, the fuel pump doesnt come on, even manually powering the fuel pump it still doesnt start, although this way fuel does get to the engine. Using the 318 pump.

    I know ive still need to do some wiring and there is a relay missing but I cant get find the information i need to complete the wiring. I need to match the 318 fuse box to the m3 computer and engine wiring.

    Unfortunately i left the m3 fuse box in the car and its already been scrapped.

    Any help or suggestions would be great.

    You are going to need to find an EWS antenna ring, and a new key. Then you are going to have to have the EWS aligned. If you had taken the EWS antenna, steering wheel lock and key from your old car and installed it, you wouldn't have had these problems.

    Search EWS swap...
    No matter where you go, there you are...

    im trying to click on the links and they just freeze when i try and pull up any of the manuals...is anyone else having this same problem. I really need the wiring diagram for a 92 325is climate control, the non automatic climate control system. any suggestions?

    awesome diagram! thanks. However, I'm having trouble finding the pin fuctions for the dimmer switch. I'm trying to splice my autometer gauges into my dimmer. HELP!
