UGH- E36 M3 Radio headache- HELP ME PLEASE

I am mid-installation of a new headunit replacing the stock one. I have gone through the trouble of studying my headunits wiring diagram and the stock ones diagram, put two and two together and have so far sodered the new headunits speaker wires and power/ground to the stock adapter (p.o.s.) I go to test it and it turns on but no sound AT ALL .

can someone help me? The only connections I have not made from the new head unit are - Antenna remote, and amp remote. Do I need to connect the Amp Remote wire from my new unit to the old adapter? If so where?

Here is the diagram I am using for the old adapter-

Unless it labeled every single speaker WRONG then idk what else to do

ALSO- it doesnt label where the posotive terminal for the rear left speaker is. yet it labels the front left speaker THREE times (1, 8, and 11), .

please help me. my stereo is dangling out with a solder iron sitting on my passenger seat right now and diagrams all over my car.
