i just bought a pair off of Draccent () and they should be arriving any day now. my question is how do i get the wiring from the tweeters (which are on the door) into the car and down to the front kick panels??? any ideas??
thanks
I'm confused, are your doors already wirde for the premium sound factory tweeters?
If not just run the wires through the hole in the door where the rubber boot is.
no, i have just the regular plastic panels now. i upgraded my entire car to the oem premium sound, and the only part thats left is the tweeter pods.
is it easy to get the wiring into that rubber boot thing? where does it come out? id check my car out right now to see...buts its 1130 at night and huge snow storm is here
thanks
Have you had your panels off? When I took mine off to remove my mirrors for painting, the wiring harness connections for premium sound were there, even though my car does not have (nor has it ever had) premium sound.
Otherwise, yeah, just run wires -- not difficult.

SÜNDE REISEN
Understood on the snow! Not to rub it in but it was sunny and a least 65 hear today. I even had to open the door of my shop today to let some frsh air in.
It's not to bad. Use a solid piece of rod, like a coat hanger, go from the cabin side of the car near the kick panel, and tape the wire to the rod.
That's a quick and dirty explination, but your pretty sharp and can figure it out from here.
