is anybody running 235-40-18s in front on an 18x9 rim....

I have a pair of 235-40-18s and i am looking into purchasing a set of mesh staggered rims. 18x8 in front and 18x9's in the rear. I am hoping to put the 235-40s in the front and am still undecided as to what to put on the rears. My car is a 92 325i (e36) the rims have an offset of the rims are 35 in the front and 32 in the rear. If anybody has any pics or info as to what fits and what doesnt i would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks

For now my '98 M3 coupe has 265/35/18s mounted on 18x9 with 38mm offset (they will be replaced by a winter set later today). Tires rub inside of wheel wells at full turns only. I suppose 235/40/18 would clear just fine, including at full turns. I have put 245/40/17s up front, they clear everything just fine. I realize they are a bit smaller OD-wise.
