As far as I know not too much that does not cost an arm and a leg. Change the exhaust and fit a chip certainly helps.

Geez blackedout, if you don't have anything worthwhile to add to the op's search, stfu. The M42 is capable of nearly 200 whp with the right mods. In a light base-model chassis, 200 whp is a lot of fun, and will eat your M50 for breakfast.
