Okay, I left the car sit undriven on the parking lot for 2 weeks without moving (auto selector in Park, and parking brake engaged). I just got a 2nd vehicle, so the M3 sits on the lot until I can find a buyer.
Today I started her up and put her in reverse, and she won't budge...as if the parking brake is still engaged (it's not). I sorta forced her to back out anyway and I heard this loud "Clank!" from the back and then it was able to move normally now, but not without slight grinding sound :
What could have happened? I had the feeling the parking brake could have frozen and I broke it somehow.
The parking brake and the rear rotors were just replaced recently due to someone's mishap - driving the car with the paking brake partly engaged, but that had been/should've been fixed.
help!

I sound like the parking brake shoes and the inside rear rotor hats somehow fused together. It might be that one of the parking brake shoe locking pins might have come loose causing one of the shoes to slightly engage itself even with the parking brake handle fully released.
Best thing to do is do fully disassemble the rear brakes and check if the shoes are damaged.
