I am so lucky to have gotten a few laps in this beast on the only track here in iceland.

This thing is f-ing crazy! I have never been in anything like this :=)

Just got an update from Tauber Motorsport.

Test fitting of the splitter prior to painting of the bumper:

    Fenders and hood mounted:

    R2D2 has been hooked up:

Hoses don´t go underneath the gar - go right through:

Spacers installed to make the M3 GT wheels fit:

Had to make a custom crank pulley (left):

"Carbon" airbox installed and now the motor hopefully gets
some cool air to work with:

    Lots o' m3s
    Sick!

Why is this post not getting more love?
I'd suggest getting some rubber grommets on where the braided lines pass through the bulkhead. I know your hoses are steel braided, but that won't help much in the long run with vibration/chaffing.

Also why all the work to dry sump it, but not address the lack of an intercooler?

    Anyway, awesome build. I'm jealous.

You are right about the grommets.

The engine has a watercooled intake

You should see this M1 in person - the photos don´t do it justice.

Only driven a few times each year, only in dry weather.

what do you mean by water cooled?

water injection? I couldn't imagine running coolant through your intake would make power

The water cooled intake is the black unit on the right of this pic:

It has a seperate coolant system with 2 radiators, one up front and one
    in the back.
