I am looking for a Peake
R5/FCX II Fault Code BMW Reset Tool (1987-2000 BMWs)
To reset my Service Interval Indicator light. If anyone has one, please let me know! Thanks!
Im ordering one with my paycheck I just got, should be here in however long it takes for pelican to ship it here. Typically about 2 weeks.
I have the code reader/reset tool. Had it for about 5 years now. What do you need to know?

Oh I just wanted to see if there was anyone local who just might accept a case of beer or what not for me to reset my Service Interval Indicator light. Or if anyone would sell me their peake tool second hand.
If anyone can help send me a PM! thanks
Sorry, I'm in Ottawa. Otherwise I'd be happy to help.

isnt there a pin you can jump? i know in mine, i can aparently jump pin 19 to pin 7 ( i think. i have the diy somewhere) and that'll reset it.
There is a pin you can jump. Someone wrote a writup somewhere, all you need is a paperclip. I have a reader and have used it once so it has almost paid for itself (I live in GP and regular mech cost $100/hr).
Here is the write up

I have the one from BAVAUTO that does service and oil reset, I will happily reset anyone local for Sleeman's honey brown. 6 pack is fine.

Newbie nere.
Apologize for bumping up such an old thread.
I accidently triggered the Airbag light when changing an exterior door handle on a 1998 328i
Operated the window with the Airbag disconnected, should have known better.
Did you ever find a local who could reset the light??
Thanks
Randy
