I have the code reader/reset tool. Had it for about 5 years now. What do you need to know?

Oh I just wanted to see if there was anyone local who just might accept a case of beer or what not for me to reset my Service Interval Indicator light. Or if anyone would sell me their peake tool second hand.
If anyone can help send me a PM! thanks

There is a pin you can jump. Someone wrote a writup somewhere, all you need is a paperclip. I have a reader and have used it once so it has almost paid for itself (I live in GP and regular mech cost $100/hr).

I can not help you with the airbag reset but if you ever need codes pulled from your OBD II or service interval reset just let me know. I am on the south side of Edmonton.

Sweet, I'll be sure to keep it in mind! Thanks!

My airbag light is on and I really need it taken care of. I don't want to pay out the ass for something that dinged on because it was cold out.

Ya I know what you mean. Mine came on before during last winter's cold snap and stayed on until I had the car in for service in the spring.

Update: I just ordered the Peake Airbag tool. Should be here next week sometime. So I'm willing to rent it out when it does get here to anyone who wants it!

    Newbie nere.

Apologize for bumping up such an old thread.

I accidently triggered the Airbag light when changing an exterior door handle on a 1998 328i

Operated the window with the Airbag disconnected, should have known better.

Did you ever find a local who could reset the light??

    Thanks
    Randy
