I've used Berkeley Touchless Car Wash (Kittredge @ Oxford) a few times.
Now I am starting to notice circular polishing marks on my 335i..Damn! I will NOT be taking the car back to that wash, and advise you stay away too...
Does anyone know of a good reputable place to buff these marks off?
Also, any good car washes, preferably in East Bay?
Thanks!

Tomorrow I have an appointment to have my car detailed/washed with
http://www.bragerautodetailing.com/index.html
I found him on Craigslist.
I'll post up the before and after pictures this week along with a review.

dboy11 is active on B'fest and is in Sonoma County. His homepage is at: http://www.davesdetailing.net/
OK. I just had my car washed and detailed by Kerwin Brager of
Brager Auto Detailing.
I forgot to bring my camera with me this morning, so I can't post pre-cleanup pix since I didn't take them. This weekend though I'll do a quick photo shoot so you guys can see Hanz(that's the name I gave my car) all cleaned up.
Overall Kerwin did a good job. He was able to buff out some minor scratches on the exterior. Shampooed up the interior as well as vacuum out all the crud on the floor and in the trunk. He got the door jams, most nooks and crannies. Windows were nice and finger printless and streak free. Nice wax & clay bar job.
End result = happy that I didn't have to do the cleaning in 48degree weather. I've never waxed or shampooed(hahaha) a car nor do I have the proper tools to do so.
Soooo..would I hire him again?
YES
If I ever have the extra money, if it's too cold outside(the man wore shorts. he used ta live out in the mid-west so it's like summertime to him right now he says) and if I just didn't have the time nor inclination but wanted my car clean; I would.
Hope that helps. pix to come this weekend.

How much did he charge?
Last edited by shogun; 10-24-2022 at 04:38 AM.
on his site, it says $40 for body wash/vacuum, and $115 for the entire shabang... and pahhoul said he got his stuff shampooed, so i'm guessing $115?
Sorry about forgetting to add the price:
I was charged $120.
On his Craigslist posting he has $120.
He needs to update the price on his website.
Oh another bit of info. This guy Kerwin Brager is a mobile detail guy. He doesn't have a full shop.
Just thought I'd add that.

I need a "full" detail too. But someone that does the wax sealant, clay bar, polish wheels. etc. basically a place/someone that does a little bit more than the "full" detail.
Looking for: 11-button OBC, Driver and passenger side door strikers

I went to AJ auto detailing, near the SJ airport. The guys there did a full interior detailing and they did an awesome job. I highly recommend them.
i wanna know, too!

bump for this thread as I'm looking once again for a mobile car wash/detailing service within my area (Moraga, CA).
www.autoplatinumdetail.com possibly located in San Jose as their phone number is a 408 area code.
They state that they are a Professional Mobile Detailer.
I just called them to inquire which areas they provide their services at here in the Bay Area.
When I told him what area I would need to have my car detailed in, he told me there would be charges for extra gas (which is understandable).
Then he asked for the make & model of my car. This is where it went downhill F A S T.
He then proceeds to tell me that he needs to at least do a $200 detailing job or possibly an executive detailing job. $250+
WTF! I don't own some freakin' $30k benz or some shit. I own a 10 year old BMW that is worth less than $7k now a days.
At this point I'm fuckin' pissed that I can't even the detail job I wanted, but I'm told that I need to have some super detail job that's not even listed on their website!
I was lookin' at a mini-detail job in the price range of $110.
I keep my composure, thank the guy for his time and end the phone call.
I'm never calling them again.
for Auto Platinum Detail
Time to give California Custom Touch mobile detailing a call.
