OBC Light - Disassemble and Repair

I have been searching all morning for a post on how to disassemble and repair the OBC lighting contacts. I remeber reading something about taking it apart and adding a strip of foam or something to improve the contact pressure. Anybody remember where this is???

i think i got the same problem as you. apparently trying to take out a stubborn Kenwood stopped the OBC thing from working.

CleanE34, Kenwood pull probably unlatched OBC. Pull audio & make sure the locking lever for the OBC is in its notch; it cams the OBC into the connector & secures it in dash.
