I was using Zimmerman cross drilled, and as soon as I went to a track pad (Carbotech XP10) I saw hairline cracks after one weekend - not surprising but the rotors were purchased before I got into tracking. No more drilled rotors for me. I am primarily considering EBC rotors from HMS. They appear to be a semi-floating to get better cooling characteristics and reduce heat transfer to the hubs. I am open to the suggestions and experience of others. http://www.hmsmotorsport.com/store/brakes/rotors/z3-rotors
Just purchase blanks - new, non drilled, non slotted. The Floating rotor...not so much better...but ohh so much more costlier.

A consensus emerges. I may still have the OEM rotors which I pulled in favor of the Zimmerman's. Cheap is good, free is better.
