Is it OK to put bigger tires on 19" OEM wheels

    OEM front : 225 / 40 / 19
    OEM rear : 255 / 35 / 19

Can I go for bigger tires with the same set of OEM wheels without problems?

    front : 255 / 40 / 19
    rear : 275 / 35 / 19

Suggestions welcome ! It's mainly for look.

Yes you can. The rears are fine (265/275/285) , but I would go with a 245 / 40 / 19 in the front....

Recommended sizes are 245/35/19 (f) and 275/30/19 (r) to maintain the right aspect ratio of the tires.
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?
