Mozart Exhaust Just Arrived from the GP

I live about an hour from Auto Addictions is Allentown PA so that's why i got it so quick. The canister of the muffler has this awesome mirror finish and the tips are pretty nice. Origionally i wasn't a fan of the DTM tips but I'm begining to like it. The welds on the exhaust or good, not the best (aka ever see a Greddy's welds) The local car parts shop will have my exhaust gaskets in tomorrow morning so I'll install it sometime early this week. I'll attempt to post some pics of the exhaust so everyone can have a look at it. So stay tuned, I'll have before and after pics and sound files!!!!!!!!!

Where do they use exhaust gaskets on a cat back system? I put a Supersprint on my 94 325i before christmas and didn't see or use any gaskets.

Exhaust gaskets are inbetween the connecting pipes, it depends how old and worn out the prior exhaust system was. I personally would just splurg and pay tthe $3 and get the new gaskets to ensure a clean and tight seal, plus if you get new bolts and wrap them with teflon tape it helps to keep a good seal and doesn't allow for to much rusting. At least that's from what i understand
