One more question from new z3 owner

    I purchased a 2001 z3 3.0...

When i get a new car i always change the diff fluid to redline or amsoil. I noticed that BMW says this diff has a lifetime fill. Does that mean i shouldnt chenge the diff fluid... I ve never heard of a life time fill ...

    thanks again

Talking Change it between 30 to 60k (m)

    depending how you drive.
If you autocross, change sooner, your rear end will stay cooler longer and wear less.
If you daily drive, lean towards the 60k.

    Either way, change it,...

In a FWD auto it'll just use ATF right?

Wanted to change my tranny fluid which is also lifetime (yea right) fluid. He told me that if the tranny or rear fluid is changed to anything but BMW fluid the warranty is voided. Just a heads up. But then again, if anything ever happens after you change the fluid, you can always change it back.
