May I ask who built the cage? Also it seems a couple things have been brought back to stock from the last time I saw this car FS, care to correct me or explain some details on the cars history.

    Thank you

    Thank you
The cage is a Kirk Racing with NASCAR side protection. At the suggestion of Eveosport and BMW CCA, there were further structural modifications made to the rear of the cage to improve safety. So to answer your questions, it is hybrid of Kirk Racing and Evosport.

Not sure what parts of the car you are referring to as back to stock. We do have a different wing on the car.....same style just not as tall. The seat was also put into my e46 car as I really like that seat. Besides that, I have not made any changes to the car.

A quick hsitory - I bought the car from a guy in PA that built it for track days but ran out of money and never even ended up driving it. After I bought it we made the modifications to the cage, added the front splitter and wing and then raced it in 4 events in 2006 where it was a capable IP car but down on power due to the stock engine. In 2007 we did a fresh top end and raced it at Laguna in April. We have not run it since then. The car is clean, safe, and reliable. It's strength is its handling. We really have the Ground Control set up dialed in. The engine is stock except for the Dinan intake and has a lot of potential for more power to someone that wants to go that route. I have a clean title for it as well.

Have you got the CCA sign-off on the cage and a race log book? Regarding the exhaust, was it originally a California car? and what is the make of the aftermarket muffler? Are the koni's single or double adjustable?

And last, but possibly most important, is it streetable? I'd need to drive it back to Ohio.
