alright, this may be a learning experience for some because i have come to notice not alot of us can identify what we see.
what is your favorite airdam for the e21's?
figure we are talking about the front end with euro bumpers. go ahead and show pics of your favorite and why.
I will start, I'm starting to love the zender because i love that huge euro lip at the bottom. alpina is my close 2nd.

You forgot Hartge, which is my favourite.
BBS Motorsport front...FTW!

I voted Alpina, but I want a Kamei because it had the best aero characteristics.

Motorsport. It just looks, the coolest...

The BBS is my favourite, followed closely by the Motorsport and the Alpina. I'm not sure I've seen the Hartge, any pics?
Motorsport is the best, ever. My car with Motorsport front in the attachment. I also like Alpina as close second (see attachment).
Also, this is for reference for you all looking for E21 spoiler:
I LOVE the Hartge spoiler

1998 Citroen ZX 1.8i SW
My first choice is obvious.
Second would be the under-bumper Zender, its just badass
Third is the Hartge
The BBS is my least favorite, even though its similar to the Zender, I'd rather run no spoiler vs. a BSS
Alpina followed closely by BBS.

Bleed Green
The one on my is is awful, scuffed and split and impossible to really repair. So I'll vote for all the others...
Jayhawk
That Zender on Jr's car in the pic is awesome, and the the Ronal with the brake duct cut-outs is quite choice. I have Euro bumpers, so I'm partial to spoilers that leave the bumper intact and in sight.
Alpina is undeniably cool, and I would put it on my car and protect it with my life, but I wouldn't put any Alpina stickers on it if it's not an Alpina. My .21 cents
wow! thats great!

bbs for my first choice, then its motosport if the car is black or alpina if any other colour.
That's a cool chart skyflyer
BBS for me
Motorsport equal first though!
I sold my BBS because Windy has one :p
Windy is that you!? Whats going on? Its been years. I think WIndy was the only other member of bmw320i.com way back when I signed up!
I know this is an old thread, but IMO they as followed:
1. BBS tied w/ Zender
2. Motorsport
3. Hartge
4. Alpina
(Only reason why I rank Hartge 3rd & 4th is IMO they only look good if the car is the real thing)
Anyhow, does the BBS or Zender fit w/ US front bumper when tucked? Any pics w/ US bumpers?
Kamei, ignore the paint please...
Looks hot!
is that yours?
Bav's Build Thread: http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2498
DEZIAC - the BBS does NOT fit a US bumper when tucked. It took a lot of modification to get it all together. The problem is that the bottom side of the bumper hits the airdam long before the bumper is all the way into the tucked position.
The way I made it work was to cut out nearly the entire underside of the bumper. 3 blades and a lot of sweat. That's thick metal.
you can sort of see it here - passenger side looking up:
Sorry for the bad pic - blackberry.
This is what it looks like from above (paint coming soon)
You can see I cut it way out - 2 reasons: 1) getting Ken's brackets so I am going to tuck even further and 2) to get to the mounting bolts on the back of the bumper. And I still have more work to do to trim it for full tuck with Ken's brackets.
