#81 E36 "Lanterne Rouge
I need to remove the rear bumper. I just had a trailer hitch installed, and since the hitch added close to 50 pounds at the bumper , I want to try removing the bumper weights to restore the balance.
I have the Chilton Guide, but it was singularly uninformative as to exactly which bolts need to be removed to free the bumper. Does anyone have any pics of the bolts and/or the procedure? (And I promise I searched the archives before posting). TIA.
Mustache flavor.
If anything starts to snag, the clips on the sides of the bumper that hold it to the rear fenders are a pain in the ass.
