    blower switch only works on high ?

    My blower switch on my 1984 318 i will not work on the first or second settings only on high. Is it easy to replace and how ?

    Replace the resistor on the bottom of the heater motor. I just replaced mine, now it works on all settings.

    Get a new resistor pack. Open the hood, right in the middle of the firewall there is a little panel with plastic nuts holding it in. Take it up carefully and pull out the little resistor pack. Then slide the new one in and put everything back together. Enjoy your fan on all speeds. Took me about 20minutes.
    I own mostly junk. Except the Porsche, that's kind of cool.
