Debadged my car, now i want the badge back on

people have been telling me that i have to buy a new M3 badge. i was like, yeah right!

ok guys, so do i just buy regular double sided tape or what? is there any kind of special double sided tape that will hold strong? someone told me that there is a 3m emblem adhesive, but i couldn't find it anywhere. damn, i better not put it on crooked (which is the reason i had it removed in the first place, it wasn't exactly in the right spot)

it was nice having the badge off for a couple of days, but it looks better with a badge in my opinion...maybe i should slap on an e46 m3 badge?

    buy a new one

They come with tape, and are really easy to put on.

Try PepBoys.. they usually have the 3M trim tape. But that's the only stuff I know of that will keep it on there.

get the 3m emblem tape. I got it at my local NAPA auto parts store for about 3 bucks. The roll lasted me about 10 tries of re-doing my badge lol when u do affix it back on, measure a friends car of where the badge should be placed.

Its alot cheaper than spending $30 bucks for new ///M 3 badge. and with a little patience you can get it just right

I've also seen the 3m emblem tape at Kragen's, and Wal-Mart (of all places!).

Kind of funny to use 3M tape to hold on an M3 badge.

    I am feeling dyslexic.

How did you debadge the M? And are there two holes left by the trunk BMW badge?

The ///M3 badge doesn't leave holes, it comes off clean with dental floss. The roundel leaves holes.
