PLEASE HELP: I own a e36 m3 3.0l (euro s50b30 motor). The oem spark plugs for this are the bosch y5ddc. Many have reported issues with bosch spark plugs though... I was thinking of using the ngk pkr7a iridium plugs (oem for s50b32) as they are one step colder plus iridium...has anyone done this?? Will it be ok? Im asking because s50b30 oem bosch y5ddc are 2 prong plugs and i'll be swapping for single prong ngk and im not sure if this will work better or cause misfires.... Any help will be valuable thanks

Why not just use the OE heat range in the Iridiums? I can't imagine going a step colder will help you in any way.

Actually the pkr7a are listed as alternatives for bosch y5ddc (oem) in many spark plug pages ive come accross...Im not sure how some forum members have come to the conclusion that they are one step colder...anyway ive already ordered the ngks and I'|| give my 2 cents after installation as its very scarce to find the actual differences on the internet by people who used both

I have a 1.9 DASC Z3 and I'm trying to find the spark plugs Shawn Fogg recommended here:
    http://ackthud.com/shawnfogg/plugs.htm

    NGK R7113-7

Can anyone tell me where to find them?
