Car looks good overall but you need smoked front turn signals. Those crystal clear once look retarded on a black car.

    thanks.

they are a little too clear for me too. thought they'd look a little more muted than that. but definitely better than amber.

Also trying to find some MHW tails (red).

    4 wheel drive

Is that really a 4 wheel drive? I don't have the best monitor in the world, but the pics from the front doesn't look like it has front axles.

Bilstein with H+R. However TMS provided me with vert. springs which I didn't realize until after they were installed in the car, and after the struts were blown. But I have new bilsteins and the RIGHT H+R springs to go in the car. Waiting for some tower mounts and misc. pieces parts and they'll be going in!!

Thanks. It is still a work in progress. The outisde is now nice, the underside of the car is nice, but I have LOTS of engine bay work to do. I wish I could have afforded to have the engine pulled and a 'full' restore done, I'm just glad I was lucky enough to do this.

Don't get discouraged about one panel at a time. And luckily you have AW which takes one panel at a time better than some other colors!!!

lol. actually my tc is not new. not leaky, but definitely not new. I'm waiting for it to A. Die on me or B. Replace it when I do my engine - www.metricmechanic.com - I'm going to do the sport 2900.

Oh, and I may see you at CSP today. Not sure yet though, helping a friend move a dresser and then he's helping me get my E46 home. If I do make it it won't be until like 3 or 4

Do you expect that once you have the CORRECT H&R springs on there that the height will stay the same as what we see now? Or do you think the vert springs sat the car down lower than it should?

All i gotta say is seeing your car at that height makes me want H&R lowering springs for my ix in the worst way..

I think it is a bit lower now than it should be. But we'll see. Should be about a week or two before I get them replaced and I'll throw some pics up...

whats the sport 2900??? its a transfer case for an ix? i looked at the site, and it was all pdf files with like 20 pages.

and i was gonna go to CSP in the morning because i have work at 3 but i figured it wasn't worth going for like an hour or two.

Sounds like a good motor but it is alittle pricey but I guess you're getting a brand new engine with performance mods. A stock engine from BMW is like 5g's so for alittle more you're getting a better engine...Good luck

I learned a while ago what my limitations are. Learning to rebuild a motor is not in the cards for me right now. I figure I could spend $3000 on parts and some professional help to rebuild my motor or I could spend $6000 and get one that I could just throw in with no issues.

Perhaps someday when I have a house with a garage that I could spend time and money on and afford to mess up I would LOVE to build my own Stroker. But for this car and within the next year, I have my eye on the 2900.
