    Rsx Exhaust On Bmw?

Now before I get started I just want to get opinions, dont knock me too hard. Im a rookie .

However my friend has a 2006 Acura RSX type S. He replaced his exhaust and has his stock exhaust. On his car it sounded very good and is very appealing cosmetically. Would it be possible to weld his exhaust onto my 2000 323CI? If it is possible is it a good idea? What pros and cons can i expect? I know its putting honda on BMW but the type S exhaust is very appealing. Advice to the rookie?

I would think that OEM muffler is restricting to a bigger motor, especially a motor with much more tq.

i am not sure about a 323, but i am pretty darn sure my 330 has dual all the way to the muffler... a four cylinder will very likely not have dual.....anywhere, check into that before you do something rediculous.

You most likley think is the back pressure. Each aftermarket exhaust has some cetain back pressure. Sometimes straight pipes. How ever if there is too much or too little backpressure, you can really screw up your motor. It will overheat or too little heat...and die

323/328 it's dual piping until the last resonator/muffler area then it's a huge single pipe into the back muffler.

325/330 it's dual piping all the way back into the muffler.

Check further up your exhaust pipes, closer to your exhaust manifold. It turns from two smaller pipes off the flanges for the exhaust manifold into the front muffler into a giant pipe aftwards all the way to the rear muffler. It's not much of dual piping, but that's what makes the different between the 323/328 and 325/330 set up.
