    100,000 Mile Emblem

    Thought this was neat...

Its a good thing they stopped giving those out as soon as they realized how long their engines lasted, or they'd go broke just from making them! lol.

Most of the people in the e21 section would probably have one by now.

I would buy two, and cut one in half... then glue them to my bumper. lolz
The previous owner mangled alot of the wiring behind the dash. As far as I can tell, there was a drunken anger mangle going on back there.

    Thumbs up What about 200,000?

    Hey,

In one day I will be crossing over the 200,000 mile marker.
Are there any badges out there for this group?

Where can you get this, or can't you?

Yeah thats what I thought when I saw it, probably for bikes. 100k on a car means the break-in is over and you can start really driving it!

haha that's funny - i didn't know BMW ever did that. I know Mercedes did - they give you a horseshoe to put on your grille after you reach 100,000 miles, if i'm not mistaken.

I used to do towing. We had to do an accident where a guy had an early 80's Goldwing and some guy cut in front of him and crashed. He was so pissed off because he owned the bike since new and it has 98,000 miles on it and he wanted to hit 100k before he would even think about buying a new one (another Goldwing). I felt bad for the guy, his bike ran mint but the forks were bent and it wasn't worth fixing.

    3cars-36v. Math FTW!
Reading that page, looks like it was from the dealership. But a BMW BIKE dealership. Not sure of the part number or if they are even still doing it. Might be worth investigting though...

Edit: Yup, found on Real OEM the part number for the regular roundel that goes there, but can't find one for the 100K miles. Might TRY later, but not worth the time now.

Hi guys, sorry I realize this post is old but, I was doing some research and I ran across your forum. I run a small accessory shop out of my home and sell a ton of high mileage emblem for Toyota Honda Chevy, yes chevy! But I've had a few inquiries on BMW and it never crossed my mind since I thought the manaufacter would give them away. Well as I read on and called BMW it turns out they don't..... I took to the internet and came across your post. I wanted to get some feedback from BMW heads like myself ...I have an E28 with 350k and would like to show the fact it has 350k on it!!!!. I Can have these emblems made and was.wonsering if anyone would be interested? I can have them made with up to 500k on them. At a price point of $25.00 and the would be metal 82 mm same size as the BMW emblem... I'm attaching a picture of 3 different styles please give me your feedback on which one would be best to go with and is any one interested... I would really appreciate it. This will help me decide if it's something I should proceed with.
