ok well my problem is everytime my car is sitting for a day or two next time i start it i get a horrible gasoline smell inside the car it even worse out side!!
so what can this be!!?
i am going to change my fuel filter ASAP but that all i can think if any ideas?
check if the gas cap is tight, then start from the engine and go towards the gas tank. You are most likely leaking from injector seals.
Or the sealing ring around the fuel sender/pump (under the rear seat).

+1 to the possibility of both fo the above.
hmm crap well i searched and read about the fuel sender seal will check that one out when I can how hard is it to get that seal?
Pop out the rear seat and the fuel pump and sender are under the round covers under there.
Did you find the leak?
Come on, i got a bet on it. lol.
Fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, could even be the injectors. The injector seals on my 300zx went bad (dissolved) and I had a faint gas smell in the car that I couldn't track down for about a month.. then it caught fire.

Just piss on it. I got stung on my arm this summer so i "self medicated" it, and my mouth -- 3.2Powerslut
I would use my nose and find it.
Becareful gas fumes can cause big fires with a spark.
I don't think your fuel filter could be the cause unless it is dripping fuel.
I don't know how old your car is perhaps a bad line?
Remember to becareful with this one, and find it before it finds you!
check the two hosees going into the fuel pump and make sure the clamps are tight on them i had a smell of petrol from my e36 and pulled up the rear seat and pump cover and there was 1/2 inch of petrol floating in the top of the pump
