I read that, but no confirmation.
Bruce says he has 24# but didnt indicate what color they are...
I'm trying to find out what lb/hr rate the stock dark blue top injectors are. (ie 21.5#, 24#, 30#, etc)

There's only one injector for all S50 B32 motors: Bosch part # 0-280-150-792 (dark blue top).
Bruce confirmed in a PM that the 12 injectors he had cleaned/blueprinted were flowing between 24.2 and 24.9 #/h @ 43.5 psi.
From Stan Weiss' website:
Jon, can you verify the part number on your injectors? (280-150-792)

Mine show 280 150 792.
What do they flow at 72.5psi/5bar?
Sqrt(new pressure/old pressure) * old flow rate = new flow rate
Sqrt(5/3.5) * 23.3 = 27.4lb/hr or 288cc/min

Here's an online calculator: http://users.erols.com/srweiss/calcpchg.htm
You know what - I might just try swapping in Bosch 0 280 155 715 new Design III injectors. We've been having great success with them in US engines for a 24lb/hr application. Since the S50B32 injectors are very close, I'd imagine they'd work nicely. I'll check current and long term fuel adjustments in the DME to make sure.

Is the anywhere in North America that might have flow tested EVO injectors for sale?
Ah yes, good point. I used 3.5 bar (50.8psi) instead of 3.0bar (43.5psi) in the original calculation.

Hi there, im looking to replace my s50b32 injectors and not that keen paying $200 each for oem ones, interested to know if theres an alternative? Thanks
Funny this thread came up, I am working on a S50B32 that has (3) original injectors and (3) that cross reference to a Ford pn#.
According to realoem.com the injectors supersede to the same injector in a S62. I ordered a set of S62 injectors second hand and found they are not 100% the same dimensionally. Before I modify the fuel rail I to am looking at alternatives or just buying (3) to match the current ones.

Wonder if you've gotten the right ones then as the PN is identical for both engines.

Well, this didn't work out like I had hoped. What I found out is the early S62s DID share the same injector as the S50B32 BUT they are a different design/form factor than the later S62s so a 2003 S62 injector is not interchangeable with a S50B32. From what I gather studying the ETKs are that the early production S62s (which were not available in the US) used the injector and then BMW changed it. When they did they also changed the fuel rail so the early S62 injectors do not straight swap over to a later S62 either.

A number of folks on m3cutters suggested the BOSCH 0280155832. I'm running a set and they work well. The stock injectors are rather vintage.
