Belt replacement on 2001 Z3

Does anyone have any idea how hard it is to change the belts on a 2001 Z3 and possibly any instructions?? i just bought it about 2 weeks ago and the belts are squealing a little...thanks

Fan Shroud, Fan and Clutch will have to be removed. Still is a little tight in there when removing belts but very doable. Check the condition of your belts first before removing and replacing. If you have the mechanical belt tensioner for the alternator belt that will make the noise your describing. Here is a link to show you the belt arrangement. Also look for a write up with Pelican Parts on water pump replacement. By the way, the mechanical tensioner for the alternator belt (also refered to as the sepentine belt) can be replaced with a hydraulic tensioner.
