Anybody knows a good BMW mechanic in Calgary? I mean a guy who loves the car and is not confusing you with a walking wallet?
shenis auto trend
Thanks a lot. Midnapore is not too far away from me. Where is Shenis Auto trend? What are they specialized in?
Thanks
Dorin

i use HD Motors, too. by the blackfoot truck stop. nice small shop, low shop rate too. i haven't had a problem, yet with them.
which reminds me.... gotta get my car in for the power steering pump right quick.

Sheni's Autotrend.
Great people, great service FTW.
Somebody mentioned somwhere that a while ago (prolly more than a year) one of Calgary BMW mechanics left and opened a shop in the NE.
Does anyone knows specifics?
^^
Yup it's true. His name is Vitek and here's his shop information:

Great people, I've been there a couple times and I have buddies that go to him as well.

Steve Nunn at Zoom Zoom Motors. He is in southeast past Race City. My brother and I import BMWs and Mercedes from Japan and he does all our work. Low shop rate, good parts prices. Used to be a tech at Lone Star Mercedes.
What about Nurburgring? Seems to be a pretty good guy in there...
Got quotes from both Sheni and Nurburgring......Sheni was 20% more expensive.
I chose Nurburgring
hey grbbenny, i am wondering if you still import bmw's from japan.
if you are and want to talk more about this email me at ivan_ak1 @ hotmail.com
thanks
Does anyone know of any specific shops for older models. Say an 850i??
I'm pretty new to old BMW's as well and so far I have heard of Motorwerkes and Sheni's are the place to go, maybe I just haven't found it yet but Calgary doesn't seem to have a lot of people that are into old beemers, so I just hang around on the boards and learn to DIY, save on repairs and get to know the cars real well.
Can anyone advise what Sheni's shop rate is (or approximately)? I'm in Edmonton now, but may be moving back to Calgary this year, and wasn't entirely satisfied with the shop I was using there before.
I know in Edmonton it seems like most independents charge $100 per hour (or more) so am guessing it's about the same.
Thanks!
2014 320i xDrive, Alpine White on black
+1 Vitek's AutoWorks
~$100 per hour
Great service, good guys.
i just poped over to Sheni's Auto Trend to get a clunk looked at in the rear, i think its the rear shock mounts and they seem like really nice people. I have an appointment booked for next wed
