nice so in all actuality we are running 31lb injectors due to the pressure.

on race tracks, you get severe fuel starvation on right hand corners, extra pump in left side of tank solves it

where can I get the 5bar fuel pressure regulator ?
standard part for E36 3.2 M3, or adjustable regulator from auto parts store

with the dual fuel pump setup, do you have a switch to turn off 1 of the pumps when the tank gets low to keep it from overheating?
no, and have been running duel pumps for about 18 months now, first with stock pumps, now walbros

May I ask you if you know a place t buy a set of performance chips for S50B32 ??? I read that you use Alpha N with cf plenun.

bf.c comes through again. Alex L suggested I get a Walbro fuel pump for my new engine, thanks for all the helpful tips you guys have provided I just ordered a GSS340 from APE
Working hard to change that.
Suspect that within a couple of months I will be able to supply custom flashs (even dyno tuning) for our cars locally, and a full set of upgrade stages to my customers.
I'm open to suggestions, but what I plan on accomplishing with the help of my tuning partner(s) is the following.
Stage 1: Stock Engine reflash. (Grp N, or an improved version thereof)
Stage 2: Stock Engine with Shrick/Sunbelt, based on GrpN, but fine tuned
Stage 3: Shrick 284, or perhaps Sunbelt, Thin head-gasket, valve job.
Stage 4: Full on race tune with 12.5 pistons, custom cams (*)
The idea of these 4 stages is a stock motor with HFM for excellent reliability and to take advantage of the factory DME which is affordable, provided with most engines, and easy to work with.
Within 2-3 months I hope to have Plug and Play DTA systems that plug right into your factory harness with minimal modification. These will of course allow for the ultimate in custom tuning for FI, traction control, data logging, launch control, clutchless upshifting and all the other benifits of a pro-level SEM. Should be well under $2K for a full system you plug in and just use with a map that plain works from the get go. It will have an 88 pin connector so you don't have to chop your harness at all.
Cool stuff coming soon!
(*) will take the longest as I have not built the engine for this yet. But if someone builds it, and brings it to Chicago, I could do the tuning soon.

Trying to make the world a better place with 5 extra throttle bodies at a time.
It's not speed that kills, it's the speed difference that does. Obviously you aren't going fast enough.
Turning Benjamins into noise since 1997
I read a list of the 100 things you MUST do before you die. Funny, "Yelling 'HELP'" didn't make the list!
My engine is so stock. Please help Alex!

My FP just went on me yesterday. I am posting mainly for the link below.
I was going to order a Walbro GSS341 as they are much cheaper than oem and put it in the oem barrel assembly, but opted to go stock with sending unit and assembly since my car is getting old and I'm prepping it to race. Local race teams also run stock pumps so they are good enough.
I will also be running dual stock pumps down the road over the winter, I'll install the second pump.
For those interested, I will be following this guide to install the second pump.
PDF made by a race team.

I have modified my system from pumpkin setup after a couple of pump failures, now run all return fuel to left side of tank, with stock pump in that side set up like pumpkin left pump, but the fuel from it is pumped into return of right pump which is now a Bosch 040 pump
