Trying to get an idea of how peoples I/C's look in their bumper. I mounted my Precision 750hp i/c the other day. Overall I'm happy, but I wish the core could sit closer to the opening in the bumper.
I'll start by example:
Intercooler: Precision 750hp
Size: 31 1/2" L x 10 5/8" H x 3 1/2" D
Kept A/C Fan?: No, but there is room for an aftermarket one.
Post em up
I'm glad you sold the Viggen for this awesome project!
I have the same problem! The I/C doesn't sit flush with the opening of the bumper. In other words, the I/C sits approx. an 1 1/2" away from the opening. Also, it sits approx. a 1/4" low past the bottom of the bumper.
You should probably note how you mounted them also?

Bigsalot, wtf is with your IC hanging below your bumper?!
a32guy, be warned, my IC fits exactly like yours. Until I put the pipes on the end, and they hit the fog lamps, and that broke the outside bumper mounting tabs off. I am going to be welding the endtanks at a 30-45* angle back towards the engine vs having them coming straight off the IC. But thats for v2, I'd like to drive my freaking car currently!!

stock Aux fan didnt fit anymore. had to use a slim fan.
my fogs didnt fit either so i got the fog light delete panels.
my intercooler does not hang below my bumper, we tucked it up as high as we could. used angled steel as a bracket welded to the inside of the nose panel and the intercooler is mounted to the new bracket using bolts.
I just welded up a couple of little mounting brackets and bolted them to the vertical bolt on the bumper mounts, also used a cheap slim pusher fan for the condensor. Oh yeah, I cut off the passenger side outlet and welded up a 90 degree elbow for a rearward facing exit.
Hey nice intercooler

My IC is flush with teh bumper cover. I had to cut the bumper bar out to make it fit the way I wanted. I may pull the alum bumer bar out again and modify it more to get the IC out farther..And weld the endtanks at an angle.
If you look you can see it almost touches the sides of the bumper cover.

If you can take it apart you can make it faster!
