Haven't you been reading 'How do i make a BMW look cheap? ' thread?
a free mod would be to swiss cheese the (underside-prefiltered) airbox. This makes the intake a bit louder. You can't see that it has been done either so it still looks ok. I haven't done it but hey its free.
Cut your muffler off.
actually cutting the bottom off the factory airbox does increase the noise a bit and not an uncommon thing I did not do it but I helped a friend do it a year ago and he got some noise, has since sold the car and gone 4ring ()()()() crazy (Audi A4 2.0t that gets beat by me all day long)
Another way is too drill a hole into the exhaust.

Rogue Engineerin IKON. just purchased. soon to be installed.
Get a porshe !
Then go deaf.
get a muffler shop to weld a glasspack in place of your stock muffler
hah i would, but i just spent 500 bucks on a muffler that (i hope) is really deep and loud
why not?
a Cold air intake will help you with some nice deep sound. But why do you want a BMW to sound like a wind up car?
2015 ProSolo STX Class Champion
i dont. i want a deep, throaty sound...and i already baught a Rogue engineering IKON...so this tread can be deleted..
huhh?
wow, honestly i would atleast buy a cat-back exhaust. When you go to sell the car and you and the buyer finds out that you cheaped out on the exhaust IMO all i could think is what else did he do to save a dollar here and there.
You can start by removing all the airbags and immediately running into a brick wall your head will be pounding from all the noise..
