Sure. I'll be off work tomorrow around 10:30AM. We could all meet up at a convenient location and knock them both out. Just let me know.

I have a Peake reader too if anyone needs to check their codes or reset lights. For compatibility purposes, it's the one that plugs under the hood (20 pin socket). I'm located around downtown. Just hit me up if anyone needs to use it.

Where are you E36 guys finding allen keys to change your diff fluid? I need a 17mm that I can cut either and inch off the small end or an inch off the handle to fit in that tight space between the diff and the spare tirewell. How are you guys doing it?

i used to use a 17mm bolt (the bolt head was 17mm), with nut welded to the threaded end of it...

unfortunately i dont have it anymore...in a pinch, i guess youd be able to use the same if you double-nutted the end of it if you couldnt weld it...

    Hi everybody. Just bought it.

    I'm a Marine stationed on K-Bay

Anyone know a good shop that will do work at a fair rate? I need to get my car raised pronto. I'm scraping the bottom on just about every speed bump and I'm pretty sure the right rear tire is rubbing on the body.

if its scraping on the outside of the tire, you can rent a fender roller and it will take care of that pronto. I had a 96 328i lowered ran 18's on it. I had the same rubbing issue in the back rolled the fenders and rubbing was gone. Much cheapier then getting the care raised!

Okay. But I'm still hitting the bottom on a lot of speed bumps. Even if I'm crawling forward.

If Zak left my old suspension on the car, raising it is very simple. All you need is a jack, an 17mm deep socket to remove the wheels and a 5 or 5.5mm allen wrench to unlock the ring. All available at the KBay auto skills shop. If you can use a tape ruler and you can get the wheel off, you can do this. PM me for instructions if you are up for it!

Cool. I can't seem to PM anyone. Guess its cus I'm new?

If by " KBay auto skills shop" you mean the hobby shop on base, that might be a problem. Last I heard it was shut down by the cops. Something about illegal inspections . . .

haha wow. well there is always pearl harbor or schofield. but yeah, if zak put the TC Kline setup on the car then changing the rear ride height is easy.

A jack, or lift, either way. It really is simple. Congrats on a fun car dude.

And don't turn off traction control and punch it.
