Anyone know how to check a e46 with fuel issues? It's a 2000 323i not getting any fuel pressure. Changed the fuel pump relay and still no dice. Is there a fuel shut off switch on the e46s? It's for a friend of mine here on the island. I think it is the fuel pump, but I jus would like others second opinion.
Reunited and it feels so good! Muahahaha!
"Dang it Jim, I'm a medic not a mechanic!"
Most likely the fuel pump as the one in the silver 325i went out last weekend. HIP should have those in stock.
You can check out the fuel pump by taking it out and connect some wires to the positive and negative side directly to the battery. But make sure to be careful because there will be some gas coming out of the fuel pump if it is still good and remember to do it in a clear area.
well i'm new here and don't know anyone lol but here it goes

I can't hook you guys up with free movies...as soon as I can recieve PMs or whatever lol, and i'm interested in learning the mechanics of my BMW. I'm a student hoping to major in mechanical engineering.

Anyone has the tool that resets and does diagnostics on my e46 m3? My airbag light is on and i did some research that it might be the seat belt pre-tensioner. But before the only time the light came on was when someone sat in my passenger seat. I tried to do the quick and easy fix to replace the cable harness under the seat but no go. Now my airbag light is constantly on since i messed with it. Anyways if anyone could help me out with that tool and i can find out what the real problem is. Thanks.
For the record:

I have, for rent, an S54 valve shim kit and shim removal tool. Additionally, if you are not up for the DIY, but, like me, are a cheap bastard paradoxically driving a luxury sports car I can assist or even do the entire adjustment for you for a fee.

Hey bimmerheads,
I need an A/C manifold gauge set with hoses for checking high/low pressures and pulling a vacuum on an R134a system. I have the vacuum pump but need the gauges. Anyone have one I could borrow for a few days?
Or, if you know of a local source where I can buy them for a reasonable price...
Looking for something like this:

I have a set of used EOM rotors for an 2003 M. Rears are good still, the fronts should last another set pads before having to ditch em. Let me know, if not I'll do away with them.!
