    dunno how it is on an e46, but relatively easy to DIY on a E36...i would assume it's set up pretty much the same way...

    We started on Sunday and looks like it will go to this Sunday! Each day, I get off work early to get started on the car. My tuner friend who said he would do the swap, is constantly late everyday, about 2hrs! He gets there and we have to quit 2-3 hours later for shop closure. I say I am going to have the car trailer'd out to a shop and he says no he will do it.......Well then, DO IT! We are too far into the job now though, to take it to a shop.....
