In search of SRS reset tool for my 1991 E32

Aloha to you all.

I'm in search of that reset tool for my blinking SRS light.
Apparently one of my dad's "mechanics" tried to fix the driver's seat.
And now that dreaded SRS won't stop blinking. Oh, it stops blinking and
stays lit up after a few minutes while driving.
I saw a few of that Peak tools for sale but I don't think it works for my year.
Anyone willing to sell or rent their tool please?

My car is a 1991 735IL.

I have Bavarian autosport fault code reader/reset tool that I used on my 92 e34 535. Would this be what you're looking for?

The BavAuto tools is a rebranded Peake tool. IIRC, you are using the round connector in the engine compartment. If so, that code reader will not work as Peake made a SRS tool for that application. I gave that tool to someone on this board, but don't remember who, and not many people use forums anymore.

engine does not matter, the SRS module is the question, check if your 1991 (built month?) E32 uses the same p/n as the 92 e34 535.
till Sept. 1991 E32 735 uses SRS module http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E3...rbag#1382905_1
65771382905 or for version with airbag for driver passenger: 65771378290 , same for E34 = till 09/1991. But a 1992 E34 535 uses

65 77 8 353 599 For vehicles with Air bag for driver and passenger from Sep '91 to Sep '93

you might give it a try, maybe it works, maybe not. The Peake SRS reset tool as well as the Chinese B800 work from 1994 build modules only
