    Friends helping friends Thread

How's about this idea? Park a thread where we can post our professions/jobs and what services, goods, deals, etc. we can offer each other? I often find out someone on the forum offers a service I needed and just paid someone else for.

    I'll start -

    Bill Wong
Ophthalmologist - Everything related to vision from annual exams, contacts, and glasses to LASIK and other eye surgery and eye disease management (cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, etc).

I can offer BF.C discounts for LASIK and Eyewear. We also accept (almost) all insurances.

    2 locations for your convenience!

    Aiea Medical Building
    99-128 Aiea Heights Drive
Suite 703 (overlooking PH and the Aloha Stadium)
    Aiea, HI 96701

Jeff Y. and while I can't help much as far as my day job goes (unless you've got a Toyota) I have been known to do some welding

    Great idea Bill!

Woody Williams - I work the same place as Jeff, and autox with Jay...but I can't weld or help you with your male/female problems.

However, if you would like to talk about Bible Prophecy, and what will soon be happening according to the news, middle east crisis, and how it has been foretold in the bible, I may be able to help.

Other than that, I don't have much else.
Oh, I have a few hand tools, and can offer coffee & beer...all depends if you're driving or not!

Yup, I remember meeting you there. Glad to have you join the gang. It's addictive I must warn you, and may cost you dearly in relationship points with GF, wife, kids, etc.

I'd be happy to see you anytime.

    Hey all,

Have not posted in a while, just got back from training. Currently I am a commercial electrician for a Federal agency.

Well if anyone needs help with work to their house or appt, let me know. From plumbing repairs, laminate flooring, to kitchen cabinet replacement... it can be done. Also, if you need to borrow tools for that type of work I may be able to help. I can also do light drafting for your extension or remodeling projects.

I have 20 years experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting trades. In my previous emplyoment, I was a quality control inspector for a military housing contract. Basically I inspected homes before a new tenant moved in. So, if you are looking to buy a house or appartment and are unsure what to look out for, I may be able to give some guidance.

I am also studying interior design, specializing in kitchens and baths. So if you only need an idea about your renovation plans, please let me know. I may be of some help.

LOL....sorry for the long post. Felt like I was typing a resume.

And no, I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night

    Nothing major...
