My first post!
Here's what's going on with the wife's 2003 325i w/ 55k miles. We have Sirius, and I was changing the station the other day. Well the display portion of the radio got stuck on a particular station. The radio works, the CD player, satellite lets you change station and still "works", but the display still says "HardAtak" from Sirius. I thought that was the only problem, but it seems to have multiplied. Now the Seat Belt light won't go off, the clock on the radio is different from the clock on the dash, the radio volume buttons on the steering wheel don't work and the killer one, the A/C isn't kicking on. On and one more thing. When I shut the car off and remove the key from the ignition, the car keeps beeping like 5 times.
Any idea what the heck is going on? I was told by the delearship that it MAY be my key, and to try the spare key. Could that REALLY be it?
Thanks in advance.
who installed your sirius radio? Whoever it was, if they were behind the radio it looks like they may have ripped wires in the back of the a/c portion of the dash. I think all signs points to the installer..
PS the key could never stop your a/c from working, tell the bmw dealer you'd love to suggest it as a future feature...

Probably not, but it seems like it couldn't hurt to try a different key, eh?

It won't hurt anything, but it wont help
Sirius came with the car from the factory.
I just took it to the dealer. I was tired of dealing with it.
