Best touring tires 1987 M6

Have a worn out set of Continentals with hard compound that must be replaced.

Tire Rack recommends another set of Contis, but I hear good things about Kuhmo Ecsta for ride quality, low noise, treadwear and price.

I'll give up the incredible traction/track qualities, etc. for a long running quiet tire with good braking ability, and a good price.

Anyone else have feedback on the Kuhmo tire?

I had a set of Kumho Mx's, excellent tire for the money, not exactly
great tread wear but they were quiet, looked good and cheap.

A friend of mine had Kumho 711's, he got rid of them 2 weeks after he
bought them.
