Hi guys, my manual swap is complete but now the car won't start. It sounds like it wants to start badly, backfiring. We have fuel for sure.

I saw on all the youtube videos they pull their eprom from their bosch transmission module, but i don't have that, I have some japanese one.

Here are pictures.

I joined the brown and black wire with the green one (neutral safety) to get it to crank. Car has new injectors and spark plugs.

My car is a 1992 with a red label 0261200402 DME

Got it started.

I just kept firing with the auto tranny dme out (that pic)

I also did take the eprom from my original 320i dme that had water damage and put it in my new 325i dme. I dunno if that helped.
