    135i vs E92 M3, picture comparison

    ________________135i_____________________E92 M3
    HP___________300/5800rpm______________414/8300rpm
    Torque_______300/1400rpm______________295/3900rpm
    Weight_______~3200lb__________________~3600lb
    0-62_________5.3 sec__________________4.6 sec
    Price Tag _____~33K____________________~62K

DOES M3 WORTH 30 GRAND MORE?

consider these statistics, esp. the price, i will definitely go for an M3-like 135i.

Both very nice. The lines on the 135i just don't do it for me though.

i35 front end is too squished, the lights should be smaller

The 135i will look very different with wider rims, blackout, a drop, tint and more aggressive color.

I like both. But I think the 135i has ALOT of potentional for modding.

well the stock 335s are dynoing at around 275 whp. and thats what the e46 m3 dynos at stock and thats got 333chp.
so i believe the 330 crank of the 135 and bmw is downplaying it.
Ofcourse they would downplay it. They would rather sell a 60k car over a 30k car.

But just imagine a custom dual exhaust, procede, coilovers, and some sick wheels on that 135i.
now that is a sickkkk car.

I do however agree that the 135i headlights are to big for the car. But imagine some eyebrows going down inward to make it look more agressive just like the m3 is.

probably my next car rite there.

    135 ftw.

i would take it over the m3, for the simple fact that you can easily get more hp out of the car while still being cheaper than a stock m3.

    +1.

BMW is crazy to sell such a potent car at such ridiculously low price.

    Over-night tuner favorite.

But I'm an NA fanatic, so I'd honestly rather have the e92 M3. It would be fun to have a 135 to modify.

the front of that m3 looks like an evo from the side profile.

I don't mind the 135i but the new m3 FTL.

I'd pay for the M3 on the basis of looks, the high revving engine, and just plain driving a new ///M!

The 135 is like kissing the ugly sister...even though she's got a bigger rack.

why did BMW get rid of the curved dash and go with one that looks like a buicks?

New bmw interiors are ugly and unsporting

actually, i love the m3 interior but not the 135i's. nav on m3 will definitely have better visibility in the housing under sunshine.

Why do you think people still buy m6's over m3's

The 1 series is anything but practical, the interior is absolutely tiny. Believe it or not, not everyone that buys a car intends to spend more money on mods.

And when you're driving around in a 30k undersized BMW, people know you're a baller.

The 1 series is the same as E46 size, if not smaller than. And it's much bigger than E36. You drive an E36 M3. Do you find it very impractical? The selling point for E92 M3 is not for a roomy touring car, but performance is. The 135i matches the performance of the E92 M3 at half the price -- that is what it is.

Practicability-wise, I think the Z4M is more on that issue. The 1-series is much bigger that the Z4M and can walk it on the track, at half the price.

And when you're driving around in a 30k undersized BMW, people know you're a baller.
Again, 1-series is the same size as E46. Do the E46 owners feel they are ballers?
