Question Whatever happened to the early E36 M3 PPG Pace Car?

    Just as the title states...

I've seen pictuers of it... 2 door coupe, white exterior, seems to have a black interior but cannot tell for sure, had the 5 star/spoke LTW rims painted/powder coated white to match the body, a huge painted M Motorsport flag practically drapes over the car from the rear going to the front...(the same colors/style as the LTW flag) and it said "PPG Pace Car" on the doors.

Was this a real LTW car, or was it a regular M3 that was dressed up for the race?

Also, what race did this rare car participate in?

Does anyone have any specs on it, such as HP ratings, modifications, etc???

Usually, the Pace Cars are beefed up engine wise to stay ahead and lead the pack of race cars...

Does the car still exist, and if so, where?

    anyone???

It was with PTG for a while and now sits at Rahal/Letterman Racing's shop in Ohio. It's part of BMW's Mobile Tradition program that takes its historical cars around the various events.

Never seen it run before but it does have a Euro 3.2 in it (maybe 3.0, not sure).

It's got a black interior with some sort of bolt-in roll cage. The wheels aren't body color, this one's aren't at least. That's about all I know.
