I have a little over 132,xxx miles on my 325i and there are a few problems I need to address.
So far:
New flex disc (guibo) - OEM
Flex Disc bolts/locking nuts
Tranny mounts - UUC black bushings with enforcers
Center Bearing
All-in-all around $200, and I'm hoping this will clear up some of the issues I've been having with acceration/shifting. I'm just wondering if there is anything else I should do while I've got the car up on the stands for that long (IE: changing the tranny fluid, simple stuff like that?)
Thanks.
In my expirence with BMW driveshafts, once they come apart for repair they are never the came again.
Do what i did, just get a rebuilt driveshaft. Mine cost me $400 from a local driveline shop and it came with a new BMW guibo, center bearing, all balanced and a 5yr warranty.
and if that turbo in ur sig is gonna be under ur hood soon, i would get a aftermarket poly guibo.
Have you checked your engine mounts? A bad engine mount can cause driveline problems also.
You have to lift up the engine (or try) to see if the mounts have seperated.
