Quit staring at your 5 and get this engine in there.

    How goes it?

its supposed to get here tomorrow.

Everyone talks like this is should be done already! Im just a teenager guys.. Not a certified mechanic.
Im going as fast as I can. Its not like once the motor is in its ready to go.. Getting it mounted is the easy part!

How old are you again? My parents are getting ticked off by me just changing the wheels lol; they say I spend too much time with the car. My dad's gonna loose it once I tell him about future plans (boost ).

    Im 18.
My parents (mom and step-dad) would flip their shit if they knew what was going on.. I told them my motor was a direct bolt in, plug and play. I think they are starting to catch on

My dad is the cool one. Hes the one who suggested I get an S54 instead of an S50B32. Hes like me.. He likes to go crazy with stuff.

    Also added to original post-

    Intermission-
So now I have to wait for stuff to come in and such. Mainly the motor mounts.. its awfully hard to mount a motor without them.

    Well, they got here today..

and I also have these things sitting around, waiting to go on....

(the fogs have yellow lamin-x on them, which is coming off. I am not a fan of french fogs.)

Also, while the car is up, I plan on lowering it a little more.

Im 18 too. I turned 18 in May.
I know it sounds stupid, but if you want to make some money, buy and re-sell cars. Just this year I have made $4200 from doing that.

    Not just originality..
Im paying twice as much in an attempt to break new ground.. sure.. the swap has been done before.. but I want to see more people do it in the future..

Sure, you could have spent what I have and have 650whp.. for about a month before your engine blows.
This engine is as new as they get, short of ordering one from BMW. I may only make 350hp, but you know what? Your 650whp will be nothing special to the enthusiasts.. Its FAR easier to pull that power from your motor than it is to swap for an S54..

Lastly, I got a killer fucking deal on this motor. I couldnt pass it up.

If you were doing a m50 turbo the same people would be telling you just to swap in a s52 or euro s50/s52. When you swap in a different motor people always say you should have gone turbo ect. You cant please everyone but as long as your happy its all that matters. Its your car for christs sakes.

    P.S. I fully support s54s into e36s

    Had: E30 325i Coupe, Have: E36 328i
Fins are funny. You all look the same too.

Spastic, you should drive down to FL once you are finished with the swap (circa 2055). Then caravan to Ft. Lauderdale and have a big Bimmerforums meet.
