Anybody running a obd II technique tuning turbo kit. Please give feedback.
Is it a good fitting kit?
driveability?
any problem?
or do you guys recommend different turbo kit?
Thanks
Best turbo kit out there, IMO. Awesome tuning which yeilds great drivability.
search.
Is it a good fitting kit? Yes
driveability? Very Good
any problem? Not that I've heard
or do you guys recommrnd different turbo kit? For the money, most people would choose tt's kit. The Racer's Market (Techno550/Bbaz on this forum) also has a nice kit for the money. What are your eventual power goals? How much money do you have to work with?

did techno550 finally come out with his kit? Last I heard he was working on his website
No.. He's waiting on a shipment of more manifolds.. ask me how I know.
Should be "officially" released soon.
I rode in a forum member's TTS2 car yesterday and it was a blast. Perfect stock-driveability, quiet (except for turbo spool), and 385rwhp..(stock cats, catback exhaust, stock S52 manifold, .140, 13 psi) Everything looked great on the kit, perfect fit and finish, and it performed incredibly well. I would highly recommend it. You can't get one for $6000 though, sorry to burst your bubble. Thanks again Andy!
TT Stage 2 is the way to go.
Unless something else comes out soon...
fitment is perfect, the system installs very cleanly.
drives like stock, no cold weather issues, fuel economy on my car actually went up even before I went to the 2.93 LSD. It's my daily driver that racks up 160+ miles a day going to and from work.
it's spot-on reliable. no problems with the kit itself but it just has a bad habit of breaking the egos of what are supposed to be faster cars and bikes. I do have to mention that the power output of this car forces you to upgrade to more sturdy hard-parts.
I can't recommend a better kit for the money. this is by far the most fun you'll have in your e36 legally and still pass emissions.
Hey man, I'm a professional!
Only problem with the TT kits for the E36's is that they are not available. We've been trying to buy one for more then 3 months.

something special from Rogue Engineering - www.rebmw.com no rattles and it holds everything that I've thrown at it while still being very streetable.
I don't know if they are retailing the part yet but a phone call to them will answer all of your questions.

Out of curiousity, what is the lead time for TT now?

11,000+ miles on the TT S2 and no problems with the kit since final install and worked out the minor bugs from previous parts left by old SCer kit. I've had fuel pump issues but that has been fixed since I rewired the pump directly to the battery on a relay.

Thanks for your input! I just talked to NickG very helpful guy and told me a lot of stuff regarding his kit. I might put my name on his list to get the kit. The wait time is October to November.
What do you think guys?
is it worth waiting?
