Ok, I just made two short vids of the engine revving. For the 2nd vid all I did was move the camera farther away just in case the first spot was too close and would overpower the mic. The digital camera mic is pretty bad at capturing engine sounds, and I don't feel like going out to buy a nice mic just to post a vid. To get the sound to sound more like what the real car sounds like, use the sound equalizer if your comp has one to raise the lower freq. levels and decrease the higher freq. levels. The highest I revved to was about 4500. While shooting the 2nd vid the engine stuttered once for a second, so I stopped at that point and am going to tighten the piping connections again. You'll see in the vid how frail I am and understand why I have trouble tightening those clamps hard enough
I'll post some pics after this.

when are you getting this thing to a dyno?

Thanks for all the info Austin.
I sent you a PM.
Still trying to find out if I can get a Stage II to fit an Mcoupe. I still have access to the old ERT shop, and I think we can get it to work.

What intake are you using? It doesn't look like the intake that come with the AA kit.
Holy thread resurrection. I wasn't expecting to see this on the front page lol. IrishRally, what picture are you referring to? The picture of the carbon fiber intake on the front page was just a conforti intake I had on the car before the SC. With the kit though I'm using the intake that comes with it, which you can't really see though because it sits below the headlight.
Rich air,

stage 2 is awesome. i got it on mine. it makes me giggle like a little school girl. i havent dynoed yet, but its good for 13.3 at 107mph in calgary (canada) at 4000ft. lol. with wheel hop of coarse. with slicks would be mid 12s. now i want more power. so i was thinking head spacer, cams, m50 mani, and custom 11psi pulley. and maybe 75 shot. everthing will be done for summer 09 for sure, except spray. im hoping for 430 to 450whp. congrats on stage 2. you'll be impressed.
Doesn't AA make a STG 1 for e36 325i??
"Camshaft," have you got the car on the dyno yet? We are yet to meet anyone with an AA Stage 2 to hit their advertised WHP of 370 without methanol injection. We have a ultra low mile E36 M3 with everything done (264/256 cams, dinan throttle body, headers, AA track pipe, M50 intake, hi-po rad & water pump, light flywheel, hi-po clutch, etc.) except the bottom end and we can only hit 340 WHP, on cool days, with 94 octane, at sea level. What do you think the problem is?

You should pm him. You shouldn't resurect an old thread for a couple questions to the OP. I would recomend starting a thread with your question about making more power.
