I am about to do my first amp install and I am not sure where to sneak the wires in terms of how to get the cables from the cabin into the trunk. I am installing a 2 channel 300.2 Tantrum series, I am running it with the stock headunit. Pictures would be really helpful!
Did you guys have to drill a hole into the car to get to the headunit?

Once you pull all the trunk carpet and liners you'll see there are already a ton of wires that pass through the cabin to the trunk. I ran my wires through the grommet on the drivers side, then down the center console. It's a real bear of a job, nothing too hard but lots of fragile trim and much more work than a typical car.
I understand now, I have to remove the center console in order to sneak the wires through.

I routed mine through the drivers side. If your taking the console route you wont need to remove it. Just take out the 2 screws on the sides in the back which will allow you to sneak your rca's up and under the rear trim with ease.
Also, take out the HK sub enclosure- (4 screws) which will give you lots of room to route. Once in the back, like the other guy said, you'll see the gromets- your then home free.
The basic model I have I do not believe has a sub enclosure. I'll check for it though, never heard anything from that area.

If you have a front battery Z3, I'd suggest running the power down the passenger side, and the RCA's down the driver side. There should be pre-drilled holes with grommets on both sides of the trunk.
