Most claim to not leave lint but I can not find any. It seems the microfiber towels leave big patches of lint versus a fiber here and there like cotton towels. Any help appreciated.
Umm, never happened to me.
That shouldn't happen...at all.
Look into Meguiar's Microfiber towels. They are the only thing that touch my paint because not only are the top quality, but they are cheap! $8 gets your 3 towels and you can find them at a local auto shop.
Cobra towels are also top notch quality. The only problem I find with cobra is that to buy some, I have to order online which isn't as easy or cheap.
Walmart kitchen towel 2/$2.99 Home Trends micro fibre flat weave white.
I use them with Stoners IG, immaculate results.
I am going to try Vroom from Target. 6 for $8 or something cheap like that. x2 on Megs towels.
Walmart has microfiber anything now. I got a bag of rags in white and blue that wont leave lint for $8 and it has 20rags maybe more. got wax pads there for $2 and they have drying towls for $5
The cheap light blue and white towels from Wal-Mart tend to leave lint after a few washings. The green and blue Wal-Mart towels are holding up decently so far, but they're only used for household dusting. The Cobra towels I've gotten from Autogeek lately have been very good.
I've found that even the good towels will begin to leave lint after two or three years of machine wash and dry cycles. Just get quality towels, wash/dry them with care, and relegate them to tasks such as wheel and door jamb cleaning when they start to break down.

Try Cosco's yellow microfiber 24 pack for only $8.99 plus TAX!! Can't beat that price.
If you are getting alot of lint, it might be a substandard towel or it could be the way that they are laundered that is the culprit. I'm sure that you are already doing this, but just for the sake of putting it out there, the microfibers should be laundered separately from all other towels/clothes. I like to use a dedicated microfiber detergent but you can use a liquid laundry detergent as well. When you put them in the dryer, make sure that the lint trap is cleaned out and you might even want to vacuum in there just to be certain there is not lint before you throw your microfibers in there. You can also use one of these balls to cut down on lint as well.
Dry them on the low heat or air setting and you should be golden. Cobra, PakShak, and Poorboys all make really good microfiber towels. I hope this helps you.
Díme con quien andas y te diré quién eres.
i use meguiar's yellow microfibers
+1 for the costco microfibers
Target has some that work well. Do not recall brand but they are orange.
Some microfiber towel bundles are cheap enough to throw away after every 4-5 uses.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Meg towels are very expensive here. Zero lint.
Found some cheap microfiber towels at 1/10 of Meg price. Thought I found a fantastic bargain. Tons of lint. Happy to find this thread which means I am not alone...
So, lesson learnt. The cheap towel I am using to wipe bird dropping off my windscreen. Only Meg towels are allowed on the body.

Don't buy ANYTHING from Walmart.
They are a local business killer, pay crap wages and mistreat their workers by not providing insurance by making sure they hire only part-time help.
On a more pleasant note, I use Pakshak mf towels.
I've noticed a few of them leave lint, but for the most part, they work much better than terrycloth.
I have never had that happen you might have just got a bad batch of towels.
