Going to look at an e21, what to expect?

I'm going to look at an 1977 320i tomorrow and i'm wondering what to look for that goes wrong on them. It is a 4speed car with 175kmiles. The guy said it has full ground effects and rear spoiler. It needs a new rear end and a fuel distributor so the guy said. And it is a former Ethiopian Embassy car. I haven't seen the car yet so i don't really know what to expect?

I went and looked at it. It had alot of rust. Basiclly it was a parts car. The skirts and front air dam was the one's on this car here in the picture below. The car is in Petersburg, WV if anybody lives close to it and wanted to look at it i could PM you his phone#.
